I.T. PROJECT MANAGEMENT AN EXECUTIVE

introduction

Using an interactive learning approach, participants are taken through the course material with discussions, exercises and case studies. The aim of this course is to provide participants with the awareness on the nature of I.T. projects and therefore equipping them with the awareness of the best practices of I.T. Project Management by benchmarking against international standards and best practices such as from the Project Management Institute (PMI) International.

This course provides participants with the executive awareness, knowledge and confidence to maximize their capability for success in managing I.T. projects. The organization would benefit from professionals, project managers, project team members or any I.T. executive equipped with this executive awareness and knowledge. In addition, the participants would gain from the discussions, exercises and case studies involving a professional and structured approach to I.T. project management.

This course is designed for participants who intend to gain a better executive awareness and understanding or knowledge regarding the best practices in managing I.T. projects. It is also suitable for participants who want to achieve an understanding in project management best practices in accordance with PMI’s global standard the Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide) Fifth Edition.

  • To learn from and infer from experiences (lessons learned) of I.T. Projects by benchmarking within the I.T. Industry internationally.

  • To be aware of and understand international project management standards according to the PMBOK® Guide (Project Management Body of Knowledge) of the Project Management Institute (PMI) International
