HR is a source of expertise on people issues in a business; it is there to formulate policy and practice on people issues, to advise on the people aspects of organisational change and to take a ‘people perspective’ identifying solutions to address the challenges the business faces.

As businesses get more collaborative, the line functions also become more inter twined. In the current business climate that treasures its people as vital assets, every manager is also considered as a HR manager. He is to manage people from the hiring process of interviewing and selection to coaching or mentoring as well as the employees’ developmental paths.

This programme is designed to equip participants with the knowledge of human resource practices and its strategic relevance in business. They will understand strategies to manage people and construct workplace arrangements that respond to organisational and human needs.
